<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"><tr><td><img src="http://rangefinderreviews.net/images/B001NIRZ8I/41iCQWWaDwL._SL75_.jpg" /><td></tr><tr><td>The ultimate laser rangefinder for tournament play and avid golfers, the Bushnell Tour V2 rangefinder combines compact size with serious power, helping you figure out distances to the green within seconds. The Tour V2 is equipped with Bushnell's PinSeeker technology, which precisely isolates your target to improve accuracy and eliminate false readings. The result? You can easily figure out the distance to flags tucked in the deepest corners of the green despite background clutter that might befuddle lesser rangefinders. Regardless of how many deep bunkers and perilous water hazards are on the course, the Tour V2 gives you the distance information you need to make smart, safe shots. And thanks to the Tour V2's impressive 5- to 1,000-yard range--which is accurate to plus or minus 1 yard--no hazard is out of bounds. The Tour V2 displays the distance to your target on the LCD readout. PinSeeker Technology A game of inches becomes a game of yards if your rangefinder gives false readings. The problem with most ranging devices is that the target is constantly competing with the larger objects that surround it. These larger objects, such as trees, contain greater signal strength and provide more reflectivity than the target, resulting in false distance readings. So what are you really aiming at? To overcome these limitations, Bushnell created PinSeeker technology, which ensures accurate target acquisitions by isolating your target and completely shutting out background hazards. When your rangefinder senses more than one object, the closer of the two is displayed so that the desired distance is calculated every time within plus or minus 1 yard. Bushnell's laser rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 laser beam (as classified by the FDA), which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Next, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for the laser to reach the target and return to the unit. Finally, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed. The rangefinder's Slope mode reads the slope angle and adjusts your club length accordingly. Targeting Modes The Tour V2 offers three targeting modes. PinSeeker mode is designed exclusively with the bottom of the cup in mind, allowing you to easily acquire the flag without inadvertently capturing background target distances. The Scan mode, meanwhile, allows you to pan across the landscape while viewing a continuously updated LCD display of the distances between you and the targets you scan with the viewfinder. And golfers can use the Slope mode to measure the angle within plus or minus 1 degree. The rangefinder will then compensate the distance based upon the ball trajectory and type of club used. Other features include a reticle option that shows the distance of targets in the crosshairs, a 5x magnification level, a 3-volt lithium battery, a battery indicator that flashes when the battery is low, and a custom high-tack grip that rivals the grip on your favorite driver. The Tour V2 carries a two-year warranty. About Bushnell Bushnell has been the industry leader in high-performance sports optics for more than 50 years.

The first thing I noticed about the Bushnell Medalist is that it is extremely simple and easy to operate, in fact, you could use this right out of the box without even reading the directions if you chose to do so. I like that, too many products are made so complicated that they are inconvenient to actually use. This is not the case with the Bushnell Medalist Laser Rangefinder. I definitely do recommend you read the instructions though, as you may miss some of the cool features that this rangefinder offers.

The Bushnell Medalist is intended to be a more economical rangefinder than the PinSeeker but still offering PinSeeker technology. It seems to accomplish that goal very nicely as we had no trouble being able to zero in on flags an even the 150 yard markers in the fairways. This rangefinder proved to be pretty stout but when the distance gets long, you may have to incorporate the PinSeeker mode to zero in on the flag. PinSeeker mode, if you are not familiar with it, will give you multiple ranges. If you are trying to pick up a flag at a long distance, PinSeeker will give you the range to the flag AND to the trees or objects behind it. No guessing whether you are ranging the right target, it gives you both.

In our experience the Bushnell Medalist performed quite well on the golf course and we had no trouble ranging up to around 300 yards for a flag stick and around 500-700 yards for trees. It’s rated to go up to 1000 yards if you are ranging a reflective enough surface but let’s get realistic, what good is ranging 1000 yards on a golf course do for you? Weather conditions can affect this of course, as with any laser rangefinder.

Who Should Buy the Bushnell Medalist Rangefinder

The Bushnell Medalist laser rangefinder is a perfect choice for the golfer who wants a quality name brand rangefinder that incorporates some high end technology but at a reasonable price. The Medalist is significantly cheaper than the PinSeeker 1500 but still offers PinSeeker technology, which is nice. The Bushnell Medalist is simple to use and quite compact measuring 1.7 x 4.5 x 3.8 inches and you will barely feel it in your pocket or bag at a featherweight 9 ounces.

The Bushnell Pro 1600 laser range finder is the new model in this series, following the Bushnell Pro 1500 and utilizing its same powerful technology. Built for the golf course, this top quality Bushnell rangefinder will enhance your game and give you an edge in any situation.

As mentioned, the Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition laser range finder utilizes the Pinseeker 1500 technology that will provide you with the most accuracy, even when other rangefinders would fail. The Bushnell Pro 1600 zeroes in on the in flag and provides you with precise measurements.

It's touted as the only golf rangefinder to provide compensation for elevation changes. This means that no matter what your angle of inclination is or where you are in relation to the pin, the model will automatically make adjustments to provide true measurements of distance. There's not a golf course in the world that can stump this unit and you'll always know which club to pick up and where to shoot.

The standard mode with this rangefinder is scanning, which means you'll have a continuously updated readout for distances as you move your range finder around the course. Both rain and reflector modes are also available.

This Bushnell golf laser range finder features a reflective distance capacity of 1600 yards, an intermediate tree distance of 1,000 yards and a flag distance of 400 yards. With accuracy within a yard and 7x26 magnification through its LCD display, you'll always know where to shoot and how to approach the situation.

When it matters most don't leave your golf game up to chance. Give yourself a boost, eliminate wasted shots and misreads and improve your score with the Bushnell Pro 1600 Tournament Edition laser range finder. It has performance that you can count on, and you'll never have an off day again; at least not because of misreads.

<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"><tr><td><img src="http://rangefinderreviews.net/images/B001PCU5RA/413zOm4CuBL._SL75_.jpg" /><td></tr><tr><td>Level the ups and downs in your quest for perfection. Built in the legacy of our venerable PinSeeker 1500, the new Pro 1600 is the world's only golf laser rangefinder to compensate for the changes in elevation. Using a digital inclinometer, it determines distance based on the degree of elevation change. It doesn't just tell you how far-it tells you exactly how far to play it. So you'll never again question the range at the top of your swing. And nothing cuts strokes, and eliminates the peaks and valleys of your game, like confidence. Completely Waterproof, Rainguard HD, 12oz 9 volt batterand premium carrying case included.<td></tr></table>
Sophisticated digital technology instantaneously calculates distances by measuring the time it takes for each pulse to travel from the rangefinder to the target and back. The ranging accuracy of the Pinseeker 1500 is plus or minus one yard under most circumstances. The maximum range of the instrument depends on the reflectivity of the target. The maximum distance for most objects is 1,000 yards, while for highly reflective objects the maximum is 1,500 yards. The Pinseeker 1500 features a powerful 7x magnification monocular for viewing your target. Optics are fully multi-coated, allowing maximum light transmission for optimum brightness, superb resolution, and contrast for a clear vivid image even in low-light conditions such as dusk or dawn. A liquid crystal display (LCD) is mounted within the optical system and, when activated, displays a reticle for targeting, yards and meters, and Mode indicators. Laser Rangefinder Features Standard with Automatic Scan (A) Scan across the course while viewing a continuously updated LCD display of the distance between you and your target. Meters/Yards (B) You can quickly choose between these standard measuring units with a simple press of a button. Target Quality Gauge (E) Gauge indicating amount of energy pulses being received back from the target. Pinseeker 1500 Targeting Modes BullsEye Geared for close-range use, this mode acquires the distances of small targets and game without inadvertently measuring background target distances. When more than one object is acquired, the closer of the two objects is shown on the LCD display. . Brush Ignores the foreground, such as brush, boulders and tree branches, and provides distances on the LCD display to background objects only. . PinSeeker Designed exclusively with the bottom of the cup in mind, this mode allows easy acquisition of the flag without inadvertently capturing background target distances. When more than one object is acquired, the closer of the two objects is shown on the LCD display. . Slope+/- Measures slope, +/- one degree of angle, and compensated range, based upon ball trajectory and type of club used. All shown on LCD display. . Laser Rangefinder Tech Talk A laser rangefinder is a distance-measuring instrument that uses laser technology to calculate the distance to targeted objects. Accuracy is +/- 1 yard, and the distance is displayed instantaneously on a built-in, through-the-lens Liquid Crystal Display. How a Laser Rangefinder Works Bushnell's Yardage Pro rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 Laser beam (as classified by the FDA) which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Then, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for a laser beam to reach a target and return to the unit. Next, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance within +/- 1 yard and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD Display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed. Reflectivity of Target Types Because rangefinders "bounce" a laser beam off the target in order to take a measurement, their range is partially determined by the reflectivity of the target. In other words, hard or "reflective" targets -- like a rock cliff or semi-truck -- can be measured at greater distances than soft surface targets, like a deer. Ranges for moderately reflective targets, like trees, fall somewhere in the middle. Most experienced hunters will use their rangefinder to frequently estimate ranges to near and distant landmarks before they actually encounter a game animal. By "pre-measuring" ranges to spots where a trophy is likely to appear, they can concentrate on making an accurate shot when the moment of truth arrives.<td></tr></table>

The Bushnell Tour V2 laser range finder with PinSeeker technology is one of the most popular rangefinders for golfers on the market today. It offers a great combination of top notch functionality and convenience, and it will never let you down when you need it most.

Utilizing Bushnell's high quality PinSeeker technology, the Tour V2 laser range finder will allow you to precisely target flags at up to 300 yards. It has a maximum reflective range finding distance of 1,000 yards and offers an intermediate 700 yard capacity for objects such as trees. Accuracy is ensured within one yard

One of the huge advantages of the Bushnell Tour V2 is that it’s the smallest laser range finder in its class. It measures just 1.7 x 4.5 x 3.8 inches and weighs only 6.6 ounces. It operates from a 3 volt battery and comes with an included carrying case and strap. With its easy grip construction and small size it offers the utmost in convenience.

Additionally, the Bushnell Tour V2 rangefinder provides 5x magnification with a 24mm lens and operates with a 9 volt battery. It operates with a standard scanning mode, utilizes an easy to view LCD screen and zeroes in on pins while avoiding background objects.

Best of all, the Bushnell Tour V2 laser range finder is legal for tournament usage, as well as for posting scores for handicapping. This means you'll be able to use it in any situation and not just when you're practicing or playing for fun.

When you are looking for a very powerful, very accurate, very portable (and legal) rangefinder, this model from Bushnell should be at the top of your list. It's widely used and respected, and will provide you with all of the information you need to attack any golf course.

It's equipped with PinSeeker technology to combine pinpoint accuracy and consistency enabling you to range up to 300 yards (±1 yard) to the flag without the use of reflectors. Designed exclusively with the bottom of the cup in mind, Bushnell's Pinseeker mode allows easy acquisition of the flag without inadvertently capturing background target distances. When more than one object is acquired, the closer of the two objects is shown on the LCD screen. Powered by a 3-volt battery, the ultra-compact Tour V2 boasts a 5x magnification and features a rubber armoring, making it easy to grip. It also comes with a premium carrying case. The Tour V2 is legal for tournament play and for posting of scores for handicap purposes. Other features include distance readings in both yards and meters and standard SCAN mode, which allows you to pan across the landscape while viewing a continuously updated LCD display of the distances between you and the targets you scan.. Specifications Magnification: 5x Objective lens: 24mm Range: 5 to 1000 yards Battery type: 9 volt Weight: 9 ounces Dimensions: 1.7 x 4.5 x 3.8 inches Range Reflective: 1000 yards Tree: 600 yards Flag: 300 yards Accuracy: ± 1 yard How a Laser Rangefinder Works Bushnell's Yardage Pro rangefinders use an invisible, eye-safe Class 1 Laser beam (as classified by the FDA) which is "bounced" off distant objects with the press of a button. Then, the rangefinder's high-speed digital clock measures the time it took for a laser beam to reach a target and return to the unit. Next, using advanced digital electronics, the rangefinder instantly calculates the distance within ±1 yard and shows the range in either yards or meters on a through-the-lens LCD Display. The entire process is so fast that less than a second elapses between the time you press the button to generate a laser beam to the time the exact range to your target is displayed.<td></tr></table>
